Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Responsibilities
- Properly and safely troubleshoot and repair all machinery used in the manufacturing process
- Establish process windows to generate optimal parts in reference to the first article
- Properly document changes made to the injection molding process at any time
- Work with Quality Assurance to ensure that molded parts are within the customer specifications
- Follow set up procedures within the work instructions
- Make recommendations to set up procedures to reduce downtime in production after mold change
- Communicate with the next shift’s process technicians about any production/machine problems
Skills/Experience
- Minimum of One (1) Years as a Controls or Maintenance Technician, preferably working with industrial machinery
- Knowledge of control panel fabrication
- Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting Machines
- Knowledge of Mechanics, Electrical circuits, Hydraulics, Pneumatic, PLC and Robotics
- Basic Arithmetic skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of PLC programming a plus
